About Us
Welcome to La Verità K9 Training & Cane Corso. We are a small family operated Cane Corso breeder & trainer located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. We are dedicated to preserving our established bloodlines which include sound temperaments, great health, breed standard, and phenomenal structure and type. Our dogs are bred from generations of outstanding and consistent type, health, balance and clarity of mind. Our dogs are natural guardians capable of protecting your family and home but also excelling in the show ring or as a companion to your young children. The name “La Verità” (The Truth) came from the desire to stay true to what we consider the original Cane Corso of Southern Italy. At La Verita, we strive to stay true to the many breeders that came before me that have contributed to the amazing bloodlines that we have been blessed and entrusted to own.
AKC Registered
We are responsible and ethical breeders that breed dogs that meet the Cane Corso breed standard. All of our litters are registered with the AKC. Each puppy gets a Registration Certificate which also sets them up for eligibility to compete in AKC sports and events.
Fully Health Tested
Every dog in our breeding program is CERTIFIED free of Hip and Elbow Dysplasia. They are checked for things such as thyroid, eye defects, heart defects, etc.
Sound Temperaments
Our puppies are handled several times a day from the time they are born. We believe in and apply early neurological stimulation improving overall health. Our puppies are raised in our home around our family, including small children, birds, cats, other dogs and farm animals.
